VIC REGENT PICKS: FINE DINING (PART 1)
For such a small coastal city, Victoria punches way above its weight class when it comes to having a vibrant culinary scene.
Our beautiful capital city is blessed with one of the highest restaurants-per-capita anywhere in the world – and when you stay right downtown in the Inner Harbour, you’re never more than a few minutes away from your favourite cuisine.
If you’re a fan of fantastic Italian food, you can’t go wrong with Il Terrazo (a staff favourite here at Vic Regent) or Zambri’s (one of Victoria’s highest-rated Italian restaurants), each of which are between a 3 to 6-minute walk from our front desk.
It doesn’t stop there: Italian cuisine is just the tip of the iceberg in BC’s capital. Perhaps our most renowned restaurant is Brasserie L’ecole, about a 10-minute walk away – in addition to the staples of French cuisine they serve what many consider to be the best Steak & Frites in the city. If you have your heart set on authentic French food there is also Matisse, just across the street from the Regent!
Each of the aforementioned establishments features diverse wine selections, delicious dining, and impeccable service.
The hard part is deciding which to choose. We have our favourites, but we’ll leave it to you to discover yours 🙂
