Victoria Brings the Classics This Fall & Winter

What are your plans this Halloween? What about this winter?

Thanks to the incredible weather we experience in Victoria (at least, by Canadian standards) we are fortunate to have outdoor weather all year long. We also have far fewer rainy days than either Vancouver or Seattle, so we are able to go outside and enjoy more of them.

But that doesn’t mean we spend all our time outdoors. The Capital Region is a hub for arts and culture on Vancouver Island, and we are fortunate to have an abundance of shows both locally and internationally on our stages.

For example, in a couple weeks we have John Cleese & Eric Idle visiting us again (October 16, 17, and 18). John was here not that long ago and stayed for weeks, and while that may not be the plan this time around it speaks wonders about what kind of community we have here.

November 12 sees the Moscow Ballet at the Royal Theatre, one of the most renown ballets in the world, performing Swan lake. And lets not forget a holiday classic: Royal Winnipeg’s The Nutcracker on December 2, 3, and 4.

That’s just the tip of the proverbial iceberg when it comes to Victorian events this autumn and winter. We look forward to seeing you!
