COVID-19 Update

Victoria Regent Waterfront Hotel & Suites

Welcome to the Victoria Regent Waterfront Hotel & Suites!

We continue to update our COVID-19 measures to provide the best possible guest experience. Please note that we are unable to accommodate guests that need to self-isolate or quarantine.

As of November 19th, 2020, Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry has released a new set of protocols to help limit the spread of COVID-19. These include the mandatory use of civilian face masks in all public indoor areas, and only socializing with people in your immediate household.

The new government mandated protocols can be read here: https://www2.gov.bc.ca/gov/content/safety/emergency-preparedness-response-recovery/covid-19-provincial-support/restrictions

The well-being of our guests has always been of the utmost importance, and as such, we have undertaken significant efforts to ensure that future stays with us will be as relaxing and worry-free as always. In consultation with WorkSafeBC, the BC Hotel Association, and the Government of British Columbia, we have implemented the following measures:

SafeTravels Certified

The Victoria Regent Hotel is now certified as a SafeTravels property by the World Travel & Tourism Council and Destination Greater Victoria. The SafeTravels Stamp was created so that travellers can recognize properties and businesses that have adopted SafeTravels health and hygiene global standards. Eligible businesses must have:

  • Developed a COVID-19 prevention plan
  • Implemented protocols for staff safety and health
  • Ensured physical distancing protocols are being observed
