New Guidelines for Visitors & Events
Maximum 5 Visitors Per Room
British Columbia’s Provincial Health Officer, Dr. Bonnie Henry, recently issued a public health order which pertains to guests staying at hotels, resorts and other vacation rental properties.
Specifically, the Order on Gatherings and Events limits the number of people in hotel rooms to the capacity of the room, plus a maximum of five (5) visitors.
We want to ensure that our guests have a safe and enjoyable stay, so we have prepared a table outlining the number of guests and visitors permitted in each of the room categories available at the Victoria Regent Hotel:
|Number of Guests Included in Rate
|Maximum Number of Guests
|Maximum Number of Visitors
|Maximum Number of Occupants (Guests + Visitors)
|Standard King Room
|Not Permitted *
|1 Bedroom Suite
|2 Bedroom Suite
|2 Bedroom Executive
* Please note that our Standard King Rooms do not have sufficient space for safe social distancing, so visitors are not permitted.
If you are unsure which guidelines apply to your reservation, please contact us and we would be happy to review this with you.
Please note that only registered guests are permitted at the Victoria Regent Hotel after 11:00 p.m.
Guests that choose to entertain visitors during their stay must also record the full name and phone number of all visitors in case contact tracing becomes necessary.
The Victoria Regent Waterfront Hotel & Suites reserves the right to monitor the number of individuals in a room, and will ask that visitors depart if the provincial health guidelines are not being adhered to.
These public health orders are being enforced by law enforcement, so please be aware that guests breaching these conditions may also be subject to a $2,000 fine.
We sincerely appreciate your understanding and support, and as always, please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any further questions.
