Chinatown: Fan-Favourite Food at Fan Tan Alley
Fan Tan Alley, Canada’s narrowest street, was formerly home to a cornucopia of opium dens, restaurants, and even a tofu factory. Named after a prominent 1800s gambling game played in gambling dens above the alley, it now houses unique stores and local businesses just minutes from our property.
Check out First Steps: Chinese Canadian Journeys in Victoria until September 30th. This exhibit highlights the significant starting points of Chinese Canadians in Victoria and is by donation, from Friday to Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
