END OF SUMMER FESTIVALS

Summer comes to an end next month – that means the end of the festivities, right? Not in Victoria!

Transitioning from summer to autumn is cause for celebration in Southern Vancouver Island, and in some ways we like to save the best for last.

The Victoria Fringe Festival runs from August 23 through September 3 and has ‘been blowing your mind since 1986!’ with a mix of live performance so diverse you can’t even begin to describe it.

September also a series of festivals and festivities, including the Great Canadian Beer Festival and Esquimalt Ribfest 2017 on the weekend of September 8-10, and one of Victoria’s largest music festivals, Rifflandia, September 14 through 17 at Royal Athletic Park.

Summer isn’t the only time to visit Victoria! Before winter takes hold we squeeze every last ounce of sunshine and celebration out of the warmest months of the year.
