End of Summer Festivals

Summer isn’t the only time worth visiting the Capital Region! While there are festivals and events every weekend and the weather is almost always spectacular, once summer comes to an end the festivities keep on coming.

Fall is filled with festivals in South Vancouver Island, from Victoria across the Saanich Peninsula. There are celebrations of great food and drink like the Great Canadian Beer Festival (September 8 & 9), Esquimalt Rib Festival (September 8-10), and Brewery & The Beast (September 24) – each sure to satiate your culinary appetite through the month of September.

It’s not just about food in autumn, either, as the Victoria Fringe Festival (August 23 to September 3) closes out the summer before events like Rifflandia (September 14-17) serenade us through the change in weather.

There’s always something worth experiencing in Victoria!
