Free Things to do in Victoria

  1. The dock’s at Fisherman’s Wharf: The docks are home to charming fishing boats of all different colours, and a children’s park. If you’re lucky, you might spot an otter!
  2. Tour Chinatown: The colourful shops and sidewalks of Canada’s oldest Chinatown are sure to brighten your visit, and may possibly teach you more about Victoria’s history.
  3. Explore Beacon Hill Park: This 183-acre park in downtown Victoria offers plenty of things to do, including a playground, year-round gardens and duck ponds, plus a seasonal water park.
  4. Take a ghost tour: You can enjoy a self-guided ghost tour for free by picking up a guide at the Inner Harbour Visitor Centre. This is a great activity to do with family & friends, and get outside exploring.
