One Fish, Two Fish…

Victorians love seafood – in fact, we really, really love seafood.

It’s to be expected from a coastal city, especially one with as much history as Victoria which, believe it or not, is actually one of the oldest cities in the Pacific Northwest. In fact, Victoria was founded in 1843 – before either Vancouver or Seattle.

The ocean is part of our blood, and seafood one of our favourite past times. That’s why when you take the walk around Victoria’s beautiful Inner Harbour there is an abundance of seafood options, some of the most popular being Red Fish Blue Fish and Barb’s Fish & Chips. There’s a reason there are always lineups!

Also right outside our doors are Ferris’ Grill & Ferris Upstairs, located just up Yates Street about a 2-minute walk from our lobby.

There are so many others as well to choose from that you could eat out for every meal each day of your visit for weeks and not try them all. It’s best to pace yourself over multiple visits 🙂

If you’re looking for somewhere delicious to eat while you’re here, never hesitate to ask our concierge!
