Summer To Do List: Whale Watching
When you think of Victoria in the summer, you probably think of outdoor dining, live music events, and the variety of festival that take place. But Victoria is so much more than its downtown core—we’re surrounded by water!
Whale watching is not a new tour, but it doesn’t get old, either. Here in the Pacific Northwest we’re fortunate to have multiple resident pods of orcas. This means there are groups of orcas that live in our area, particularly in the summer months due to the return of salmon.
There’s nothing quite like seeing a whale for the first time. And on a tour you’re also likely to see a variety of other marine life as well. Tours run from the docks just outside the Regent, so add it to your summer to do list, and you can thank us later!
