Check-In / Check-Out
Check-in anytime after 4:00 PM. Check-out time is 11:00 AM.
Late departures of up to 1 hour past check-out time can be arranged at the front desk, subject to room availability.
A valid credit card is required at the time of check-in.
Debit cards are NOT accepted at check in (Visa and MasterCard Debit cards are also not accepted).
A pre-authorization will be applied at check-in for the full cost of your stay plus incidentals.
The actual charge will be applied at check-out.
Reservation Guarantee Policy
A valid credit card is required when you book in order to guarantee your reservation at the Victoria Regent Hotel.
Minimum Age
Please note that guests must be 19 or older to place a reservation. Guests under the age of 19 are only allowed to check in with a parent or official guardian.
Cancellation Policy
There is no charge for cancellations made up to 48 hours in advance. If you cancel within 48 hours of your arrival, a 1-night charge (+ taxes) will automatically be processed on your credit card.
Maximum Room Occupancy
The maximum room occupancy varies by category. Please consult the following table for full details:

Extra Guest Fees
Where extra guests are permitted, children aged 16 or younger may stay free of charge. Guests aged 17 and older may stay for a fee of $20 per extra adult guest per night.
Taxes & Fees
Reservations are subject to 17.16% taxes and fees in addition to room rates.
Smoking Policy
The Victoria Regent Hotel is pleased to offer a smoke-free environment. Smoking and vaping of any substance is prohibited in all guest areas including rooms, patios, balconies, our lobby and business centre, parking areas, and outdoor common areas. Violation of this policy will result in a minimum cleaning fee of $200. As per the City of Victoria Clean Air Bylaw, smoking is also prohibited within 7 meters (23 ft.) of doorways and windows.
Pet Policy
With the exception of government certified guide and service dogs, the Victoria Regent Hotel does not allow pets to stay in the hotel. Guests accompanied by a service dog will be required to produce their government issued certificate upon check-in.
